FAQ

Can we use Immunetec products when it comes to protection against coronavirus?

It has been demonstrated through laboratory tests that Immunetec antimicrobial products provide efficient solution against bacteria, fungi, and selective viruses. Under current circumstances, one of the most frequent and important questions relating our products is whether we can rely on them when seeking protection against coronavirus. In case of viruses tested earlier, namely norovirus, H1N1 and influenza, Immunetec products have been proven to have a deactivating effect. In March 2021. Our cream has been tested against SARS-CoV-2 by the Institute for Antiviral Research of Utah State University. During the testing Immunetec cream has successfully eliminated the novel coronavirus. (Documentation may be found under Information menu of this website.) Coronavirus is relatively vulnerable and easy to destroy once its protective outer layer is eliminated. Therefore, it is highly recommended to wash our hand frequently and thoroughly, as soap dissolves this layer. Immunetec technology’s reactive agents use this exact same method to effectively reduce the viability of microorganisms. In case of our products, released silver ions cause the damage in cell membranes (bacteria) or protective envelopes (viruses). These free ions trigger destructive reactions as a result of which the protective layers, enzyme production or DNA structure of these pathogens are harmed. Immunetec products are based on this same mechanism of action for providing antimicrobial protection and have proven to be effective against bacteria and viruses through numerous laboratory tests.

Questions about the cream

The cream should be used at times when hygiene is important: during travel, on public transport, in schools, in kindergarten, in healthcare institutions and the list goes on.

In case of standard use by one person, one tube may last up until one month.

No. Immunetec© Cream can be used on any skin surfaces. (armpits, face, feet etc.)

Yes of course. In fact, experience shows that if the surrounding of the wound is treated with the cream regularly, it may speed up the healing process.

As we usually use the cream on smaller surfaces such as hands/palms, it does not have any effect on our skin when we sunbathe. The cream will soak off when we enter the water, thus has to be reapplied.

During the development of Immunetec© technology we took into consideration that the use of smart devices became indispensable in our everyday life. Thus Immunete© Cream is non-greasy, does not stain and is safe to use with electronic devices.

No. Immunetec’s active ingredients do not pose any health risks to humans.

Substances in the cream will not cause any harm to your infant. You may apply it at any age. It could even be helpful when getting rid of the habit of thumb sucking.

The cream is hypoallergenic. It is recommended, however, to try the cream on a small skin surface before applying it, as it is impossible to cover all sorts of skin problems during lab tests.

Questions about the spray

A bottle of spray can produce up to 1100 blows.

After the treatment of such toys, children are safe to play with them or hug them right away. The spraying, however, leaves a damp feel on the toys. This is why we recommend waiting until they dry completely. The spray can be a great help when our child goes on a school trip, camping, or is -unfortunately- treated in a hospital, where we are not able to wash these toys every day.

Yes. The spray must be shaken well before each use.

No, unlike alcohol-based disinfectants which are wiped off after application, Immunetec© Spray has to be left on the treated surface. The spray, however, is not nearly as effective on hard surfaces than it is on textiles. The Immunetec© Impregnation Spray is recommended to be used on different textiles and clothing.

The ingredients of the Immunetec© Spray do not contain any nano-particles so it is not dangerous for our health. You may find the Immunetec© product certification on our website.

A slight amount of spray does not cause any harm. We should not, however, use the product directly on plants.

The Immunetec© Spray is safe to use even in the room of newborns. Moreover, the spray is useful to reach proper hygiene level when preparing the newborn’s room for his/her arrival.

Substances in the spray do not mean any health risks to the human body.

For textiles and clothing, Immunetec© remains effective for up to 3-4 washes. If you are treating other surfaces that cannot be washed, procedure should be repeated every month.

General questions relating to the technology

Thanks to silver-ion technology the ion component of the cream/spray will kill 99.9% of all bacteria, fungi and selective viruses, thus making the surface completely germ free.

The adverse health effects of nano-particles have been scientifically proven. Since 2013, a regulation requires that nano materials must be included on product labels among ingredients. When getting inside a living organism, nano-particles can cause serious damages. In case of applying a substance with nano-particles on our skin, the particles will absorb and enter our bloodstream, having toxic impact. The same happens when we inhale these particles. The use of products containing nano-particles is not recommended.
